Looking West Over the Marsh

 


 Looking West over a pond to the woods.  There are several ponds in the marsh, this is one of the larger ones.  Narrow tidal creeks connect the ponds to the open water.  At low tide the ponds are isolated and small fish and crabs become trapped, easy prey for wading birds.
